The HOKASU Glare Control (HGC) technology is designed specifically for commercial environments. Based on the technology, we produce transparent and prismatic diffusers with high light transmission and pleasant geometric lighting effect. HGC diffusers are compatible with the UGR (Unified Glare Rating) standard and allow you to increase the lighting efficiency of commercial spaces up to 90%.

The HOKASU Protect Cover (HPC) co-extrusion technology has made it possible to develop a diffuser that has simple light transmission and a long service life. Each diffuser is made of two materials:

• Polycarbonate. Used for resistance against external influences and high temperatures. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use;
• Acrylic. To prevent yellowing due to UV rays. During the entire service life, which is more than 10 years, the lamp retains high-quality light without changing the color temperature.

HOKASU Heat Control (HHC) is a specialty polycarbonate that delivers 10 times more heat than conventional raw plastic. The main factor affecting the durability of the luminaire is good cooling of the LED modules, which is very important when designing. Recall that the basis of the HOKASU linear lamp is aircraft-grade aluminum. The only element that does not transfer heat well is the diffuser. Based on these factors, we developed polycarbonate using HHC technology, which allowed us to increase heat dissipation in the finished luminaire.

(CRI, aka Ra) - a parameter characterizing the level of correspondence of the natural color of the body to the visible (apparent) color of that body when illuminated, was proposed in 1965. It is believed that the CRI of quality residential light should be at least 80. According to HOKASU standards, the color rendering index of a luminaire CRI>85. LEDs with a CRI > 90 are generally used.
