Yasnaya Polyana coworking space
Project tour
Completed project – the "Yasnaya Polyana" coworking space.
A new workspace in the heart of St Petersburg. A modern office with a bespoke design.
At our own factory we made a series of functional recessed linear luminaires and Y-shaped pendant luminaires, which gave the modern space its own character.
With high-quality HOKASU lighting equipment we increased the working capacity and productivity of the coworking members. The refined luminaires from the Japanese manufacturer give the room a presentable, modern look.
The Pereval space
A 16-seat workspace with a bright screen, Alexander Dashevsky's painting "Colosseum" and a modern lighting scenario: the Yasnaya Polyana coworking space. The windows of the space look out onto an old building that blocks natural light from entering the room – the drawback is offset by an original lighting scenario inside the space. The right light creates visual effects that motivate the coworking members to work, lifts their mood and also serves as a decorative element of the design.
Conveying the volume of the space, emphasising the stylistic choices and creating the right atmosphere was achieved thanks to the lines of light in silver, arranged in a random order. The S50 series with a matt diffuser provides even illumination with no pixelation.
The Voskresenie space
A 24-seat workspace with a view of Lva Tolstogo square. The special feature of the "Voskresenie" space is the restored brick wall of the mansion. The space is done in loft style. The interior of the space is complemented by "Bomb Shelter", a painting by the famous Russian artist Alexander Dashevsky, and by installations by Mikhail Buntin. The space is convenient in that above every desk there is a line of light with a matt diffuser, which distributes the light evenly across the work surface.
Specially for Yasnaya Polyana we optimised the lighting design and manufactured HOKASU S50 linear luminaires in silver. The S50 series is a modern solution for an office space. It has crisp geometry and a style of its own.
The "Yasnaya Polyana" coworking space occupies a historic mansion on Lva Tolstogo square in Petrogradskaya. The building was erected in 1903; at first it housed the tenement house of V. M. Korzinin, and in Soviet times communal flats. Turning the former communal flats into a comfortable workspace took more than two years – that is how long the major refurbishment, the development of the design project and its realisation took. The main aim was to create a space where a bespoke interior meets modern technology and every detail inspires productive work and creativity.
