"Mercan Holding" headquarters

A lighting project has been completed for the new office of the Merkan Holding group of companies — a refined space where modernity is interwoven organically with history. The architectural concept was developed by the studio Abdullah Burnaz Mimarlık, and HOKASU was proud to act as the lighting partner.

The project is a unique example of how innovative technology can bring out the character of an old brick building. Inside there are spacious Open Space areas filled with light and air. This lightness is emphasised by linear luminaires HOKASU D60 with a soft diffused glow around the whole circumference, which create an even and pleasant atmosphere.

Ceilings finished in dark natural veneer give the space particular depth and prestige. Flawlessly integrated into them are the trimless recessed HOKASU DOT luminaires and the brand's own OneLine magnetic system, which emphasises the architectural geometry of the interior.

This project is an example of harmony between architecture, light and cultural context, in which technology becomes an inseparable part of the aesthetics.

MRC Mercan Holding is a well-known brand in the maritime industry, offering the transport of chemical and oil cargoes with its own fleet of chemical tankers.
