A bold bedroom in dark tones
The project's author, Darya Russu, divided the small room with a partition and created a light, open system with clothes rails, drawers and a roomy floor-to-ceiling wardrobe.
An LED strip with a matt diffuser is hidden behind the ceiling, lifting it slightly and giving extra emphasis to the window ensemble. In addition, expressive lighting was given to the wall bas-relief, the dressing room and the furniture composition.
The bed with its low headboard stands by the interior's main accent – the "crumpled" wall, which became not only a visual but also a literary accent, recalling a crumpled sheet of paper. A scattering of glowing LED pearls adorns the niche in the ceiling.
Movable slatted partitions were provided along the window in place of ordinary net curtains – they not only diffuse the light beautifully but also create a sense of privacy, hiding the bedroom from the neighbours in the building opposite.
The result is a calm, laconic interior without loud accents, yet very functional and, most importantly, "not like everyone else's".
